Cooking Puglia Workshop - Summer Edition

June 21 – 23, 2025

This three day workshop is the perfect introduction to our way of life in Puglia with its focus on cooking, eating, learning and sharing. While food and cooking will be at the heart of our three days together, our greater aim is to highlight all that is magical about our home region in early summer: the food and wine, the people and language, local traditions, the rugged, golden hued landscape and the sea.

We will spend time in our Altamura cooking studio mastering the art of orecchiette pasta and sugo making, trying our hand at making the regional taralli biscuits, preserving sott’olio vegetables, and baking some traditional sweets. Long table lunches will feature the fruits of our labour.

In addition to our cooking adventures we will also have time to explore nearby towns, shop local markets and enjoy an aperitivo and al fresco dinner at our favourite restaurant. Accommodation is at a B&B that is located near our cooking studio in the Centro Storico just steps from the Cattedrale Santa Maria dell’Assunta. It’s the perfect location for morning strolls and afternoon exploring of our charming, history-rich city.

Our purpose is to provide an opportunity to discover the connection between food, the land and history of Puglia through an immersive, inspiring and delicious learning experience.

The Details

*Dates: 3 day workshops run from June 21st t0 23rd, 2025
Fee: Price per person is €1500 based on double occupancy. A deposit of €500 is required to reserve you space.A single supplement is available for an additional €200 euro.
*Price includes:
*2 nights accommodation at a B&B in the historical centre of Altamura
*All meals, wine, refreshments, snacks, museum entrance fees
*3 hands-on cooking classes, wine tasting, cheese tasting and olive oil tasting
*Day trip to the town of Matera

Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your participation, refunds will be provided according to the following schedule:

* Cancellation made 60 days or more prior to the event start date: Full refund minus a 20% administrative fee.

* Cancellation made between 30 to 59 days prior to the event start date: 50% refund.

* Cancellation made less than 30 days prior to the event start date: No refund will be provided.
